Dez Bryant and Nicki Minaj have been jaw-jacking on social media, and it was all sparked by an issue between Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the team’s star defensive end Micah Parsons. In the latest chapter of their online feud, the former NFL wide receiver has agreed to fight the 42-year-old rapper’s husband with $10 million on the line.
So, how did we get here? Well, Jones mentioned his 2015 negotiations with JAY-Z, Roc Nation Sports, and Bryant while discussing his current contract stalemate with Parsons and his agent, claiming that Hov ghosted him. Roc Nation Sports fired back with a statement denying that claim, and Bryant took to X to say that he has more that he could reveal if need be.
Minaj lives for any chance to slam the Brooklyn rapper and Roc Nation, so she inserted herself and said she would tell stories about dealing with them each time the three-time Pro Bowler described his experiences with Jones, the Cowboys, and the NFL. Bryant initially entertained her threats before she made things personal, bringing up how he inserted himself in her online tension with Meek Mill in 2020 and allegedly assaulted his mother in 2012.
The 36-year-old former footballer countered that by denying the assault allegations, calling Minaj a “weird h*e” and bringing up her husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender. This is when the physical threats came into play. “I’m so happy you brought this up,” the Queens rapper wrote on X. “I’ll give you 10 million in cash if you’d come & fight him since you BEAT UR OWN MOM.”
Bryant seemingly had had enough of the keyboard warrior activity and agreed to fisticuffs. “I’ve been lied on my whole career so I’m not trying to hear all of that sh*t,” he wrote. “I thought we was speaking facts.. I don’t play all of that funny sh*t… go get that 10 million in cash.. I’ll stomp that ni**a out right in front of you.. and it’s ROC for life bi**h.” He added some fuel to the fire by wishing Hov a great day on X, and saying he would get Cardi B on her.
Somehow, an issue between Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons has led to Dez Bryant, JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, Meek Mill, Bryant’s mother, and Kenneth Petty’s names all being invoked. In true “Itty Bitty Piggy” rapper fashion, she has also been engaging with stan accounts who have dug up some disturbing claims about the 2014 NFL receiving touchdown leader’s family and birth. It has gotten ugly, and fists haven’t even been thrown yet.
