According to recent rumors, Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers could return for Camp Rock 3, the third entry in the Disney Channel film series after 2008’s Camp Rock and 2010’s Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. These rumors come amid Lovato making a surprise appearance at a Jonas Brothers’ concert recently and performing songs from the movie series.

Demi Lovato’s appearance at Jonas Brothers’ concert begin Camp Rock 3 Rumors

@ThePopTingz shared on X (formerly Twitter) that “Demi Lovato is rumored to have finalized the deal to return to Camp Rock 3, alongside the Jonas Brothers.” They added that the production for the movie is set to start in September 2025.

Camp Rock premiered on Disney Channel on June 20, 2008, and was a massive hit despite receiving a mixed response from the critics. Its considerable success led to the development of the sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which has accumulated a better critical rating than the first movie.

Both movies feature Lovato and Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas in the cast. Lovato portrayed Mitchie Torres in the movies, while the Jonas trio played members of the band Connect 3. Although Lovato appeared in other Disney Channel projects before the Camp Rock movies, they effectively made her a star. The Jonas Brothers also became significantly popular through these films.

Despite the title of the sequel, fans have speculated about the third Camp Rock TV film for a long time. The aforementioned rumors began to circulate amid Lovato’s appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, August 10. They performed “This is Me” from Camp Rock and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” from The Final Jam.

Additionally, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, who played Ella Pador in the movies, and Jonas Brothers’ younger sibling Frankie, who essayed the role of Trevor in The Final Jam, were also present at the concert.
