This relationship drama across multiple reality TV shows is getting more complex by the second. It all started when it was confirmed that Love Island USA Season 7 Huda Mustafa was seeing someone new. This new beau of hers is Louis Russell, two-time alum of Too Hot To Handle.

Seconds after their soft launch on a red carpet, several people noticeably unfollowed Louis on social media. Among the group was Leah Kateb, fan-favorite islander from Season 6 of Love Island USA. Mind you, it was already rumored that Leah and Huda were having a feud. Now she’s unfollowing her new boyfriend? This mess is getting out of hand, and Leah’s boyfriend Miguel Harichi is stepping in.

Miguel recently took to his Instagram story to address all of the drama. His statement not only defended Leah, but it called out one of his so-called friends.

Specifically, his friend Isaac Francis, another THTH alum, aired a phone call between them on one of Isaac’s livestreams. Isaac claimed during his conversation with Miguel that Leah unfollowed Louis because he’s seeing “a girl she doesn’t even know”. This unexpected convo further fueled the fire that Leah is salty towards Huda. Thanks a lot Isaac.

It doesn’t seem like Isaac told Miguel that this was a streamed phone call, because he appears to be livid about it.

“People I called my friends feeling as though they have the right to talk on my relationship so negatively in such a public manner with no regard for how this might affect my girls mental,” Miguel ranted in his August 2 story.

The reality TV star is hoping to no longer be involved in the gossip, adding that, “I would prefer if my name and my girls name no longer crossed into their world.”

However, he did speak on why he, Leah, and her friends Ja’Na Craig and Serena Page did unfollow Louis. He alluded to Louis not being with Huda with the right intentions, and that “it didn’t sit right.”

The only people who haven’t spoken up amidst the chaos are the lovebirds themselves, Huda and Louis. Only time will tell.

Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
