Close associates revealed that the unnamed A-list star felt panicked when the sensitive video with tycoon Diddy was spreading in the media.
Sex tape causes a stir
On October 4, The New York Post reported that the American media was abuzz with a sex tape between Sean Combs ( Diddy ) and a high-ranking A-list star in the entertainment industry.
More than one person is selling the highly disturbing footage. The video shows a man believed to be Diddy having sex with a younger male, who appears to be an unnamed A-list celebrity. Their faces are clearly visible in the video.
The A-list star was not named by the press because it was unclear whether he was a victim of a sex crime or an adult at the time of filming.

Several media insiders confirmed to The New York Post that they had been approached with the video in recent weeks, but decided not to purchase it because of legal challenges to authenticating the video, as well as concerns about the young celebrity's age at the time of filming.
A Homeland Security official involved in the raid on Diddy’s Miami home told The Post that law enforcement believed the hip-hop mogul filmed indecent videos at the mansion. The property reportedly had hidden rooms that allowed Diddy to record sex parties and even monitor them remotely.
However, the source could not confirm whether the A-list star appeared in any of the footage they obtained.
“There are some recognizable names, but I will not confirm any of their identities. However, there is more than one such name,” the police said.
In fact, although not spoken out, the name of the A-list star who made a sex tape with Diddy is an open secret in the industry.

Two people close to the star told The Post that the video caused a stir, complicated the situation, and brought back some disturbing and bad memories.
“It’s a real nightmare. He feels like he was a victim years ago and now he’s a victim again. If the footage gets out, it will follow him for the rest of his life. It will be on the internet forever,” the insider shared.

In a conversation with NewsNation , she claimed to know about the stills from the video, but had not seen the entire thing.
“Mr. Combs is on the tape and the other person — I would say he is of a higher status than Mr. Combs. I can confirm that it exists. It is real and the other person on the video is very visible. There is no doubt about whether it is the person on the video,” the lawyer emphasized.
In response, Diddy's team denied the existence of the video, and criticized Mitchell-Kidd for deliberately seeking attention.

In another development, social media went viral with a video of Diddy and Justin Bieber on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2011.

Asked by Kimmel when the car would arrive, Diddy responded cryptically: “The Lamborghini for a day or two and he has access to the house. He knows better than to talk about what he does with big brother Puff (Diddy's other stage name) on national television. It's not for everyone.”
